Isolated Tribes

New roads, airports, population expantion, wars, introduction of religion and industrialisation has dislocated most tribes that in the last decades were living isolated tradtional lives. Fortunately there remain a few tribes that cling on.

Ancient Cultures

The old generation is disappearing and the new generation is moving to cities and adoptiong modernity spurred on by the internet. Communities and age old traditions and lifestyles are quickly fading.

Sacred Lands

Globalisation, mining, deforestation and infrastructure have left the primary rain forest on Kalimantan (Borneo), as an example, the worlds third largest island to be 97% irretrevability stripped.

Vibrant Ecosystems

Pollution, weather manipulation, industrial fishing and over exploitation has blackened rivers, emptied lakes and bleached coral habitats. Few areas in the world remain unaffected.

The best way to experience a land and its people is through a photographer’s lens.

Uncharted Indonesia Tours

The majority of my tours focus on the immense and spectacular country of Indonesia where I have been living for the last decade. With around 17,000 islands and three timezones, the country in my eyes remains one of the last frontiers to discover. Indonesia still offers age old traditions, remote tribes, majestic waterfalls, active volcanoes, sacred rituals and vast ocean playgrounds.
